
JORDAN SMITH
Jordan Smith is from the Mohawk Nation (Bear Clan), currently residing on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation. Jordan teaches culture to students of the Niagara Wheatfield school district (K-12) and is currently the head of Native education at Old Fort Niagara historic site in Youngstown, N.Y. He is a novice level speaker of Kaienkeha (Mohawk language) He travels the world educating on Native American culture, history, song, and dance; From pre-contact to modern contemporary Indigenous culture with emphasis on historical material culture for 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. He is also a talented actor, playing a small role in the film "PANA" (2019). From 2013 to 2018, Jordan worked for Thundering Waters Dance Theater as a choreographer, dancer, singer, costume designer, musician and master of ceremonies for any occasion. He has experience assisting television series and acting as a consultant for authenticity.
